Bank
The bank is an important building in Cyberia. Inside the building, players can find two NPCs: The Banker and the Community Market (→ CyberiaMaps).
Banking: 'Staking' CyberCitizens
Before Update 240430, players could claim daily rewards from the Banker for each of their CyberCitizens. Rewards had to be claimed daily and were determined by the rarity, generation, and character level of the citizen. For more information on this, refer to the CyberCitizen page.
The old system was overhauled in April 2024 and replaced by a new mechanism, along with a 10-month transition period to substantially decrease rewards ('halving events'), rebalancing CYPX inflation, and placing more emphasis on playing the game rather than generating passive rewards by holding NFTs. Rewards can be increased by leveling up the character level. Each level (up to level 10) provides a bonus of +2%.
Accumulating Rewards
Players can now let their Citizens accumulate rewards. Accumulating has to be activated manually at the Banker interface. After activation, claiming the rewards is subject to a fee. After 28 days of accumulating, the fee decreases to 0%. Rewards can be claimed for all Citizens at once or individually. If a new CyberCitizen is added to the player's collection, accumulating must be manually activated.
